Youngsters from Poland and Slovakia took part in music workshops which culminated in concerts. Their works are surprisingly lifelike imitations of all kinds of insects and other creepy crawlies “twisted” out of odd materials, all to fool unsuspecting fish. ![]() FIRST TEST OF PIANOTo increase the facilities of the Hostel a piano was acquired for the “Icehouse” dinning room. ![]() NEW YEARS EVE 2007The New Year was seen in with fireworks and the release of helium-filled balloons by the guests. Many of the helium balloons carried a personal message or wish. ![]() OFFICIAL OPENING OF HOSTEL KOSSHostel Koss was oficially opened on Saturday 16th June 2007. The Hostel’s Manager, Andrzej Burkot, warmly welcomed the many guests who had assembled in the late afternoon sunshine. ![]() HISTORY OF THE PLACEHostel Koss was created in the former estate buildings of the Manor House which once belonged to Tadeusz and Anna Kossak. The sleeping accommodation is in the “Scouts' Stables”, while the “Manor's Icehouse” serves as a place to meet over a meal or at the fireside. |
